FORM is the new menswear label by Petra Eccleston, the daughter of Bernie Ecclestone who’s often called the “unofficially owner” of the Formula One, thus it is little surprise that the collection is lead by the Formula One streamlined aesthetics. To flawlessly rush into fashion, Eccelstone collaborated with Edward Sexton whose classic contemporary cuts for Nutters of Saville Row influenced the whole understanding of the Savile Row’s bespoke tradition. The Knitted Collar Overcoat’s body conscious shape is a fitting example of FORM’s claim to form the most dramatic silhouettes for modern men. The emphasis on luxury fabrics and the elegant cut still retains just the right portion of casual feel for the regular wardrobe. Prominent are the two-way zip on the front and the knitted back collar.
