A bicycle is not just a means to get from here to there. As it has been in the early 20s, driving the right bike is a statement, and a way to exhibit your environmental consciousness as well as never before. In the scope of the Wallpaper* Design Awards 2010, the International has been unveiled, an extraordinary, foldable bicycle produced by the sought-after, Tokyo-based Kinfolk manufacture in collaboration with Brooks, and the color experts of Coat. Aesthetically the bike is reduced to a minimum: single speed, no brakes, no fuss aside from being collapsible to fit a not less exciting bespoke leather bag, created by the Brazilian-rooted Nivaldo de Lima label.
