Highland Park unveils oldest ever Island Single Malt

For the experienced connoisseur or the urbanized, modern gentleman, Highland Park is a name to reckon on when searching an exceptional dram. A name mentioned in a row with just the most prestigious distilleries, now to adorn the oldest ever island single malt whisky, a 50 year old filling in a limited stock of only 275 bottles, guaranteed to become a sought-after collector’s piece. A hand-finished, curvy bottle wrapped in a captivating net cage of hand-crafted Sterling silver that seems to embrace a Highland Park crest, which is hand-carved into a piece of circular Orkney sandstone from the famous St. Magnus Cathedral, makes this an exquisite, collect-worthy whisky. When enjoying this whisky, the bottle will reveal a Sterling silver replica of the St Magnus rose placed inside the bottle. This whisky is a vatting of five refill oak casks distilled in 1960, and features a mahogany color, rich and spicy tannins with notes of muscovado sugar to the fore. Further notably, each bottling comes with a hand-carved Scottish oak box, each with its individual characteristics and detailing along with a Sterling silver porthole on the front.
